Lets give this a try...

For the past few years I have been trying - with various levels of success - to come up with a way to get information out to the masses. Realizing that we live in an age when most people actually know what a Blog is I have decided to go this route.

So, without further ado I give you... cowbell please...

The Blog.

What you will get for the low low price of actually checking the damn thing:
1- You get the fancy schedule on the right. Sorry Don, you can't actually stick it to your fridge without printing it out first.
2 - You get to vote on the menu (again on the right)
3 - You, yes you, can participate by either adding your comments to posts or putting up a post yourself. Thus it becomes a repository (Karyn can explain that to you Todd) for James' Onion of the day, AND James can actually participate without getting censored by the man.
4 - You can actually just have an email sent to you when someone adds something... or I'll send email updates out as well.

Sound good?
(BTW, yes, I know the colors on the blog suck but I'm working on that.)

Alrighty then, with that out of the way here is the news that I know.

Tickets are to be mailed out tomorrow (8-17) and I should have them shortly. I will be in town for a fantasy football draft on the weekend of the 25th and 26th (golf anyone?) and can arrange to meet anyone that needs their tickets early if you would like. Otherwise I will have them at the trailer stocking party and/or the first game.

Thanks to Ginger for volunteering to store the trailer. Your neighbors are going to love you for this one. We are scheduling a trailer cleaning and stocking party for the 7th of September (the night before the game) which should work out well in rolling a hangover right into a drunk. I believe that Karyn and Todd, The Popelkas and the Burggraf's have tailgating passes. I know the Osborne's would like one and would be VERY willing to help get the trailer to the lot. If anyone isn't going to use theirs please let me know.

The Utes look good this year (we are going to be GREAT next year) and the schedule is pretty damn good so I am all lathered up for the season to start. The Fletcher's are excited to see you all and please get your orders in early for booze, fireworks and porn.

Go UTES!
